Health Awareness Canada (H.A.C.) would like to connect everyone in the community so that we can find ways to collaborate and bring positive social changes together.
- Through Connect and Change the Community (CCC) Project, Health Awareness Canada (HAC) aims to build an online database (will be released by Spring 2018) to achieve synergies between different stakeholders – including researchers, community organizations, governments and other relevant partners.
- As good health is a key outcome of successful immigration integration and settlement, this project seeks to bridge the gap between the immigrant service providers and community health organizations so that more collaborative efforts can be made in providing newcomers with culturally appropriate health interventions.
- The logic behind this online database and its potential contributions to the community was presented at Pathway to Prosperity (P2P) National Conference in Ottawa, December 2016.
